The ISSN is an organization that studies ‘the narrative’ and everything related to it. The information I have used is about the writing technique called ‘stream of consciousness’. This link provided a lot of useful information which helped me to understand the stream of consciousness a lot better.
Paste Magazine
Paste Magazine contains several reviews and articles about books, music and movies. There was a particularly interesting review I have read about The Bear.

I have used this book for quotations and obviously to understand the story better.

Further Research
http://www.biography.com/articles/William-Faulkner-9292252
This website contains a lot of information about William Faulkner’s life. As I did not yet learn a lot about the man himself, so this source would be good to start with. It also contains many links to related subjects.
http://www.ehow.com/how_2062520_read-william-faulkner.html
This is an interesting article on how to read Faulkner on the www.ehow.com. I searched the internet for tips to understand his books better and Google came up with this site. It would be a good idea to study it and the links provided, in order to appreciate Faulkner’s (short) stories even more.
Other stories
Go Down Moses by William Faulkner
I would definitely like to read the other two stories from ‘Go Down Moses’ in order to understand ‘The Bear’ better. Although the stories can be read separately, it would add much more to the whole experience to read everything.
